Stuff Pretty Good partners with shopping programs so the guide can stay free for readers. This page explains how those relationships work and how they affect what you see on the site.

The short version

Some links on stuffprettygood.com are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a qualifying purchase, MehyarSoft LLC may earn a commission. This never costs you anything extra, and it never changes the price you pay. It also never changes which products we feature or how we rank them.

How affiliate links work

When you click an outbound link from Stuff Pretty Good to a merchant site (for example, an Amazon search-results page or a Walmart product page), the link carries a tracking identifier tied to our partner account. If a qualifying purchase is attributed to that click within the merchant's cookie window, MehyarSoft LLC receives a commission. Merchants set the commission rates and attribution windows; we do not control them.

How affiliate relationships affect our editorial

Affiliate status is a last filter, not a first one. A product has to clear our usefulness bar before we ever consider whether it has an affiliate program. If two products are equally useful and only one has an active affiliate program, we do not favor the one with the commission — we surface the one that fits the shopper's stated need.

Sponsored content

If a piece of content is sponsored by a merchant or advertiser, we label it as sponsored at the top of the page, in the metadata, and in the footer of the affected content. Sponsored content is editorially separated from our organic recommendations.

Sampling and gifting

When a merchant provides a product sample, loaner, or gift in connection with a review or feature, we disclose that relationship on the relevant page.

Your choices

You can always visit a merchant directly and search for the same product — you will pay the same price, and we will not earn a commission. Affiliate links are a convenience, not a surcharge.
